Registration is not complete without payment and a properly formatted picture. If you deregister before the deadline, you will receive a full refund. If you do not get drafted, you will receive a full refund. All refunds will be processed after the draft. Waitlist players may be approved by the committee as replacement players on teams that have injury dropouts. Registration does not guarantee a spot on a team. Please notify us if you cannot make it to the tournament and dropout.

1. Click the registration link to go to the new portal.
2. New players will create a profile. Most returning players will have an existing profile, which will ask you to verify details upon signing in. Your ITS number and phone number will be used for login.
3. After signing in, you’ll be redirected to the home page. You should see an upcoming event on your dashboard titled “Flag Football - Tournament - 10th Anniversary.” Click “View” to see the list of participants and register.
4. To register, you must first add funds to your balance. Click "Add Balance" from the event page or click on the Balance tab. Please follow the instructions on the Balance page carefully. You must copy and add the MEMO as shown when you Zelle the $100 registration fee. Your balance will be updated within 10 minutes.
5. Return to the event page and click "Register Me." Your name will appear on the Live Roster List.

It is an honor for the tournament to be held in the Dallas/Plano area. Players from the Metroplex will be hosting their brethren by paying an extra $20. We thank them for making their full payment of $100 via Zelle. $120 for late registration.

Deadline to drop for a full refund is the Friday before the draft: 7/18/25

If payment is not made before the early registration deadline, your registration will be cancelled and you will have to register again & pay the late registration fee. If you do not pay by the late registration deadline, you will not be eligible for the draft and will be waitlisted. You may remain on the waitlist until after the tournament. Waitlist players may be approved by the committee as replacement players on teams that have injury dropouts. Registration does not guarantee a spot on a team. You will be waitlisted if you are not drafted and refunded if you do not play.

Tournament Structure & Team Selection:

Games will be played 7 on 7 with NIRSA modified MFL rules. Our goal is to maximize the number of games from Saturday morning until Sunday late afternoon (no night games). This schedule will make the tournament as enjoyable and competitive as possible, trying to maximize playing time. We will play a number of games on Saturday to establish team seeding for a tournament bracket to be played on Sunday. Team selection is yet to be decided.

2022 MFL City vs City Championship

What: City/Regional teams will compete in a two-day tournament against the best of the best from other cities.

When: March 26-27th, 2022

Where: Houston, TX

This tournament is unique to past MFL tournaments and may take place only once every few years. We are inviting any City that can form a team to participate!

Details:

- A representative from each city must message Mustafa bhai Burhani to register the participating number of teams by February 14th. We do have a cap set on teams, so register ASAP.

- Cities, if manageable, are allowed to register multiple teams. All teams coming from one city must be competitively balanced.

- $500 non-refundable team registration fee and final rosters are due by February 28th.

- Minimum of 7 players required per team. Proof of travel must be submitted by March 7th.

*Committee reserves the right to restrict teams for the sake of tournament scheduling/structure/competition*

- 6 games minimum 7v7 play with MFL Rules.

- Jerseys will not be provided. Color selection TBD after registration ends.

- Players that have changed residency are eligible to play for a city that they have lived in for at least 7 years. They may choose to play for a city they are currently living in if they have been there for at least 2 years.

*Exceptions will be considered and are at the discretion of the Committee. Requests can be made to Mustafa bhai Burhani*
